     Within hours of posting a Great Swiss Mountain dog whose family was planning to turn in to the local shelter in two days, I received over 10 emails from interested forever families! One of them was a local Great Swiss Mountain Rescue group I was unaware existed. 'Leah' was rescued within 24 hours of my post on Rescue Me!!! The group has a long list of Great Swiss Mountain Dog fans who are ready to meet and adopt her. Yay!!! Thank you, Rescue Me.

     We were able to find a new home for Iris and her brother Bluto. The new family has been keeping us informed as to their adjustment to the new family. By placing the dogs on the Rescue Me! site we quickly found a family that was specifically interested in adopting Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs and were very knowledgeable about the breed.      Because of 'Rescue Me'' we found a wonderful family with 3 children who are making a home for Zoe. They had lost their dog and wanted to get an adult dog that was already trained. We just delivered her yesterday and this family was so encouraging and made it so easy to part with Zoe whom we dearly loved but could no longer take care of. Thanks to this posting, we found this wonderful family to give our Zoe all the attention she needs and deserves. Thanks
